Dear Parents,
Every 6 years school districts' special education programs are monitored by the state. Our district is scheduled to be monitored this school year. As part of that process, the state is seeking the opinions of parents of students who receive special education services, and is asking them to complete a 15 to 20 minute online survey. Parents will be receiving a letter from their child's special education teacher with more information about the survey and information will be posted on the district website. The survey can be accessed through the internet at http://apps.leaderservices.com/ParentSurvey, and can be taken at anytime prior to February 21, 2014. An outside agency tabulates the results and generates a report for the state and the district. No names are used and no one is identified in this report.
