Classroom Happenings...

It was another great week to be visiting classrooms.  Here is a sample of what I saw:

What is the best way to learn kitchen safety rules?  Students in Ms. D'Aleandro's Family and Consumer Science class decided for themselves--some students created their own song, some students drew pictures and some students created a skit in order to help them learn the class rules and expectations.

Students in Ms. Kinney's Family and Consumer Science classes were learning that threading a needle is not quite as easy as it looks.

Ms. Sheckard's science classes were learning how data is used to support a hypothesis and draw a conclusion by working on a science lab.

Mr. Bellenbaum and Ms. Harnish's science classes were reviewing the steps of the scientific method by listening to a catchy song...enjoy the video!

Mr. Whiteford and Ms. Dansberry's Social Studies classes were learning about Absolute and Relative location.  Students were classifying examples to demonstrate their understanding of the two types of location.
